Grave of faithful WWI horse Blackie to form centrepiece of housing development.

Wonderful piece in the Telegraph (Fri 16th March) by Patrick Sawer, senior news reporter and Lynne Wallis highlighting the story of World War One war horse Blackie. The piece highlights how 20 year old Lieutenant Leonard Comer Wall requested that should he be killed in action his campaign medals and decorations would be buried with his faithful horse Blackie.
