Christmas Dinner and Dance 2019

Our now annual Black Tie Christmas dinner and dance was held in the beautiful festive setting of Coworth Park, in Ascot. Almost 80 guests joined the party for a champagne reception, sponsored by Canare -1 and fine dining prepared by the hotel’s Michelin chef, Adam Smith. TV celebrity Chris Hollins presided over the evening, and, after a welcome from War Memorial co-Founders Alan Carr and Susan Osborne, a presentation on the important work of Brooke, the international horse welfare organisation – and one of our chosen charities – was given from its Chief Executive, Petra Ingram and Trustee Jane Holderness-Roddam.

Grace was said by Karen Stone and, after the dinner, guests were treated to a polished singing performance from the very talented 11 -year old Nina Ayling, followed by dancing in the Garden Room, with West End favourites Colin Roy and Bonita. And a successful auction ensured a sizeable donation for our good causes. We were delighted to spend the evening with so many good friends and supporters and look forward to welcoming everyone to our next fundraising event.
