Concert lifeline as appeal gets underway

Two horse sanctuaries are the first charities to benefit from the proceeds of our virtual concert, staged earlier this month and still available to see on YouTube.

Mane Chance in Surrey and Blue Acre in Berkshire have both been struggling to survive since the lockdown and thanks to you, our kind-hearted supporters, we have been able to give them modest donations to help them keep going during these challenging times.

All public fundraising events have stopped and because animal charities have received no government bailout they have been particularly badly hit by COVID-19.

Actress Jenny Seagrove is Founder and Director of Mane Chance horse and pony rescue and rehabilitation centre, near Guildford. In this video she expresses her thanks on behalf of all the charities we hope to support.
If you are able to help us we’d love to hear from you. You can make a donation or buy our pin badges – the details on how to do that are on our SHOP and DONATE pages. Just follow the links.

August 23 is National Animal Day. It will be the opportunity for us all to wear our purple poppy badges to show that we care. Throughout time animals have been there for us. If ever there was a time for us to be there for them, this is it. Thank You.
