Christmas concert to feature original composition

Major Craig Hallatt BA (Mus) LRSM ALCM CAMUS is Director of Music and Officer Commanding The Band Of The Household Cavalry, and an acclaimed composer. We know him best as the creator of our wonderful Elegy to the War Horse, a haunting and enigmatic tribute to war horses everywhere. But his composition Alpha and Omega – the beginning and the end – is equally stunning and, with his permission, perfect we felt to include as a backdrop to the superb nativity performance by the children and animals of the Donkey Breed Society. When you watch it you will see what we mean. Craig’s wonderfully evocative music highlights beautifully the story of the birth of Jesus, and the joy of the ever-patient donkeys as they are finally rewarded with the freedom of an open field.
