Event Details

Grand Auction of the World Horse Trail in The Pavilion at Kensington Palace from 6.30pm on Wednesday, November 27, 2019.

The World Horse Trail tells the stories of horses which have been helped by World Horse Welfare as well as highlighting other areas of the charity’s work with horses in sport. A number of the sculptures feature working horses from countries like Haiti where families rely on their horses to make a living. The unique designs for the sculptures were kindly created by artists, celebrities, students and members of the public and inspired by the stories or names of the horses. The World Horse Trail was proudly supported by the Beaverbrook Foundation. War Horse Memorial has donated one of our limited edition maquettes which will be auctioned at the event, with all profits donated to the charity’s pioneering work.

World Horse Welfare is an international charity whose values are grounded in pragmatism and compassion that strives to support and improve the horse-human partnership in all of its guises. It’s vision is a world where every horse is treated with respect, compassion and understanding.
