There’ll be dancing in the aisles and singing at the checkout desks on Sunday (October 6th) when Sainsbury’s Ascot hold their Purple Poppy Music Feast…
This year is the national 150th anniversary of the supermarket and Sainsbury’s on Ascot High Street. They have decided to celebrate this milestone by supporting War Horse Memorial and our Purple Poppy Appeal.
From 11am until 3.30 there will be non stop entertainment in store, with special guest performances from a host of stars, including London West End star Colin Roy, and Gary Chilton, formerly of The Soldiers. There will also be Purple Poppy face painting, balloons for the children and a tombola with prizes for all the family. All donations will go towards the Purple Poppy Appeal to help us support our chosen charities. Co-founder Alan Carr, who will be on hand to help, says there will be fun for all the family thanks to the wonderful staff who have really taken our cause close to their hearts
