  • The War Horse Memorial”, “we” or “our” means The War Horse Memorial, a Community Interest Company (CIC). A Community Interest Company (CIC) is government approved and a fully regulated business vehicle that has been specifically designed to assist those looking to provide a benefit to communities. A CIC is a company whose primary purpose is one of community benefit rather than private profit. To quote the CIC Regulator ‘community benefit is always at the heart of any CIC. We were incorporated on February 16, 2017 for the purpose of raising funds for The War Horse Memorial. The company registered number is 10624199.

  • “Material” means all of the information, data, text, graphics, links, computer code or other material published on, contained or available on the Website;

  • “User”, “you” or “your” means the individual or organisation accessing the Website, ordering goods or services, registering for events and/or making donations;

  • “Website” means any website under the ownership or control of The War Horse Memorial which links to these terms and conditions.

2. Your use of the Website

By using the Website, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website.

We may amend or revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating the text of this page.

You can view any non-password protected parts of the Website and use the Material contained on the Website for your own purposes provided you:

9. Viruses

Although the War Horse Memorial makes all reasonable attempts to exclude viruses from the Website, we cannot ensure such exclusion and no liability is accepted for damage caused through the downloading of viruses. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and the War Horse Memorial and supersede all other communications and proposals, whether electronic or written, between the User and the War Horse Memorial.

Any failure of the War Horse Memorial to exercise or enforce any of its rights under these terms and conditions shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any such rights.

13. Jurisdiction

The terms and conditions and the use by the User of the Website are governed by the laws of England. Any disputes arising from or relating to the Website, any transactions made on the Website and/or these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
